The Poverty Awareness Network of Nipissing (PANN) is an offshoot of the
Nipissing University Learning Network, and is part of Nipissing University's efforts to encourage
student leadership through meaningful volunteer experiences.
PANN is a student run organization aimed at providing information to students and the community about the existence and prevalence of poverty in our community, our country, and worldwide. Furthermore, PANN hopes that by raising awareness about poverty, we may encourage students and community members to do something about poverty.
In the Fall of 2013 we will also begin our Career Mentoring Program in partnership with the Learning Network at Nipissing University a number of community groups. Please visit our contact page if you have any inquiries.
